I wanted to try the "water drop" photography technique jmsetzler used with "Liberty and Justice" for which he made a nice tutorial. It is simple yet effective.

I tried experimenting with different angles and apertures, but strait above is about the only way you can get decent refraction of the image through the drops.

I really have to try this one day as well. You did a good job of it.

Although this water droplet technique is getting a little over done, I do like your take of it by adding the yellow ribbon. I do believe, however, that the droplets could have been in better focus to give it more of a "WOW" effect.

Nice shot. This is one that I have personally tried, and I know it can be difficult. You did a good job, I think the focus could be a touch sharper in the drops.

Well executed, and a good source of red, blue and yellow. But I've seen the water drop idea before, and I'm sad (very sad!) to say, truly tired of the American flag

Nice but this thing is overdone. Really. Thought about doing it with the Newfoundland flag which has all three primary colours. For composition and technique I'd have to give you a good score but for originality I can't. Sorry 5.

Seen this type of thing so many times, well executed though.

This isn't your fault, but I'm starting to get fed up with the 'Let's enter the American flag in every single challenge!' thing. At least yours fits the challenge, unlike three others this time, and is a nice-looking image to boot.

Very good try but not quite sharp on the drops. You`ll never beat the photo by "The great one".

Beautiful shot, but the idea has been used quite alot on DPC. The american flag is also too common for my taste in these challenges. Great execution. (Gotta try this drop thing sometime :) )

This image would be 10 times better if I knew what that yellow thing was. Also, quite a good attempt at this technique, might I suggest setting your sprayer to spray out more drops and less mist? You'll get less tiny bubbles (so you'll see more inside each bubble) This technique works best if you can get the bubbles to not have that dark ring around the sides.. I"m not sure how you would eliminate it, but I've seen it done.

It̢۪s not very original. There is one like this in every challenge... It is a nice technique though!

We all have to do one once, eh? Nice job - what's the yellow though?
