Ohio State Quarter - from a "Mint" bag. Amazing how many scratches there are on a mint coin.

Seems a bit over-sharpened but that's a personal thing. Don't like the carpet/ background

if the coin was in space id say im impressed but on a carpet...nah

i like this. good tones. the carpet is sort of a weird backdrop, tho. maybe shot on a sheet would be better.,,

So that's what it looks like on the moon, I've always been wondering! ;) Very good idea and execution. Coin is maybe a little bit too dark in the bottom left, especially compared to the rest of the coin.

The 'space age' carpeting is weirdly interesting, and I like the crescent 'moon' of the highlight on the coin.

love the detail in this shoot

Nice job holding detail and texture on reflective subject - usually a tricky job...

Just curious, is that slver, gold, or some othr color?

Good macro work

I saw the 1803 at the top and thought "someone made a fake coin with a spacesuit dated 1803". But now I get it.

I thought North Carolina was First In Flight ? The image seems a little uninspired, and I'm not sure how well the reflective coin works in B/W. Maybe different lighting to have the background a. uniform color.

The coin stands out well in the photo, but I feel like it being placed in the carpet really took a lot away from the image. Otherwise, it is a well-composed shot with the size of the subject.

great macro, it's hard to keep glare off metal - you did a great job. If only you could have gotten it to look like the lower left - all over. Nice clarity on the carpet too. Good job.

Good macro and good contrast, but I think the fuzzy carpet takes away from the shot.

Creative shot. Neat b&w.

wouldve been great with space in the background.

I like this photo quite a bit but i believe the subject would be better served on a different surface... did you try any other sufraces in this setup? Nice shot!

Thats funny, I always thought Ohio was known for nothing but corn.
