How come there are no leaves on the trees? Do you have serious problems with gypsy moth caterpillars? Anyway, thought the shot was not all that interesting.

Not a bad shot technically at all. Nice perspective, focus, & DOF. Natural colors too and the lighting isn't bad. Unfortunately, though, the subject matter really doesn't grab me personally.

Sharper focus, and bolder colors could have really helped this to be a more effective photograph. The road leads "into" the shot well enough, but it doesn't go to anything particularly interesting. I am assuming you were having to shoot without getting run over, but if you could have isolated one car or vehicle to "focus" on, the viewer would be more interested, I think.

I like the slippery roads, but it lacks a little pizzaz. It seems a tad flat, probably from the grayness of the sky. But with rain, that's what you get. The clarity and movement make up for it.
