I will have to admit that this doesn't really appeal to me much. The lines here seem to be a bit soft. It makes me think that this appears out of focus.
The pattern is neat. I think that it's a good setup. The waves in the water make for an interesting pattern, and the lighting really does make the pattern stand out a lot.
There really isn't much else to add. I think that the angle and framing/cropping is good, I like how the subject fills the entire frame, and there really are no distractions.
It's just not really my thing.

Beautiful abstract! I really like this one. The patterns of grey extending from the left are very nice, and add depth and texture to the image. Nice.

Really nice pattern. Excellent lighting. B & W is perfect for this picture.

Wonderful interplay of lights and darks. I find myself wondering what this would have looked like using different color "tones". I am not entirely crazy about the wide black border - I feel that it unbalances the shot somewhat.

This photo intrigues me, it really makes me wonder what I am looking at. The contrasts are very nicely done, and the whole thing is very abstract and cool.

Nice capture of the waves but the subject is not very interesting.....real nice lighting though

Very dark overall, despite the water highlights, giving it a sort of bland, homogenous feel. A blue tint might have been better.

this image has a nice quality to it with the separation of the highlights, midtones, and shadow areas. it's neat to look and is a really good abstract.

I just love abstracts like this. This is certainly an impressionistic view of the water, and you show us just how lovely nature can be in the most simple places. Lots of variation and engaging textures here. I'd love to see this in color, too, but it works so well in B/W! 10

I really like this one. so simple yet intersting. I dunno about the black frame, though. it seems to "blacken" the shot a little too much for me.

Wow very nice. In fact it's really great.... The shades of black to white are just awsome in this shot. The grey, everything, I'm looking at every area of it and love it. Great shot! 8!
