 Gradient in difference mode, desaturate, HBS colorize for background, extract on foreground, select it, contract it 5 pixels, use inverse as layer mask for background, discard extraction, duplicate foreground layer, add gaussian blur to soften feather detail, lower opacity.

the direct light source flattens your subject, would love to see more vibrant colors in the reds and blues 3

I think this would have been better if the mouth were closed. Not sure what the white is on the bottom of the picture since his feet are cropped off.

Aww..what a cutie. Nice color. Maybe a straight on shot wasn't the best in this pose. Hard to appreciate the full dimension. Try shooting down and angled just a bit.

I felt that his mouth should have been more in focus, but this is a terrific capture. Beautiful colors, and a really fun photo.
