Here's my way belated post-challenge comment for the occasional passer-by perhaps:

First of all I have to say that personally I do NOT believe that this picture meets the challenge %100 because in my view the desired effect in order to create a personification must be intentional whereas this shot is a sort of an outtake. Why do I enter an outtake in the last minute then? Well, simply because I found it funny and thought it would amuse people. It's nice to have people give birth to a smile when they look at your picture.

"Lucky, patient or both?" I am asked. Not lucky to capture the particular candle-posture that I was hoping for, no matter how patient I was, but I enjoyed it all the same. The shot is an outtake from my failed attempts to re-create this old picture: Candles in Love.

I thank the commentators who found it interesting. I suppose I'd agree with ShotMD and just say that the image was somewhat cleverly interpreted.

ps: "Heated Discussion" is probably a better title. Thanks "glad2badad".

Cheers

Excellent idea-wondering how long you had to watch and fan the flames before you got the desired effect.

Bit of a heated discussion you could say! ;^) The title helps, but it's a cool (no pun intended) image nonetheless.

Good luck in the challenge.
