struggled a bit with this assignment but I gave it ago anyway. The crackled effect is achieved by having the objects in a crackled glass vase. I've done a bit of editing to increase the contract and the brightness of the general image but I struggled to adjust a central somewhat over exposed area. I'm new at this editing stuff but I was determined to have a go! Please feel free to leave tips!

Nice idea, but not very good technically. The light is not good, there are burnouts and washouts...

Wow this shot reminds me of the frozen Canadian baby shot. Good work, I love the distortion through the ice.

Interesting idea. The bright highlight going through the middle of the shot is a little distracting to me. Maybe softer light and a slightly darker exposure would bring out some interesting details

A spoon and fork in ice? A little difficult to see. The lighting in the center is harsh, with some blown out areas creating quite a distraction. Looks like you may have tried to tone it down a bit post processing, but instead, it kind of gave it a greyish look. Not sure how to recover from that, other than try different lighting. I wonder, if this were frozen in ice, would a backlighting have made an interesting effect? ~Heather~
