 I take extra efforts to be punctual so about the only thing I am too late for is getting to the phone before it stops ringing so it was what came to mind reading this challenge.

I do like the way you blurred the hand and made the letters on the phone screen standout. And the frame definitely adds to it!!

You've got the concept of "too late" working. I have a little trouble with the hand. It's a forground element that is trying really hard to be a background element.

I really like the idea of the picture. The b&w adds to its effect, in my opinion, as the colors of the cell phone display might have been a little distracting. The blurred hand also adds nicely to the "just a second too late" character of the picture.
One thing I don't like is the backgtround, it just doesn't have enough contrast with the hand and the phone; on the right side, you can't really tell where the phone ends and the background begins. This might also be due to the lighting which makes the phone cast a distinct shadow.
I also find it distracting a little distracting how the light produces a lot of glare on the phone.
Don't get me wrong though, I really like this picture!
