I am in Okinawa Japan, which is 14 hours ahead of EST, so it is currently the morning of 10 December, even though it is still December 9th in the states.

Greetings from the Critique Club

Well, Tofarley, it looks as if this is your week to be Critiqued by SFAlice. I see I just did your nice Candlelight Romance entry.

This one is a different mood entirely. It's humerous and technically good. (The more I see of the S2 IS at work, the more I like it.) Composition is good.

The voters generally liked it and you received a pretty good score. I guess your very nice image just didn't have that extra something that voters tend to reward so highly.

I wish you continued enjoyment in your DPC experience.

And I do hope you find our comments helpful.

Good idea!

very nice idea. maybe could have used a more dramatic pose, like bending over to grab one of those beers, or to get something out of the back of the fridge, but, then again, at that time of night, there is usually that sense of uncertainty, wanting something, but not knowing just what. great work! love the lighting--that is tops. great perspective, as well.

I really like the darkness and the silhouette created :)

not appealing... the focus of the image is on the person behind..

The headless leftover hunter. I only yhink of those that are instead cooking breakfast at such an hour. Preparing for a day at the factory. I like your excellent composition. 9

Meets the challenge well. Good angle and I like how you only used the light from the fridge.

I like this one! There is another one similar in this challenge, but this one is more simple and clean. It's a bit over exposed (see the light around the hand)

LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING I WOULD DO IN THE MORNING NICE

Fridge shots I have found difficult to pull of in the past, this is impressive. You got the lighting right spot on

Great idea and well executed. Good luck in the challenge. One of my favorite entries so far.

Great concept. The "midnight" snack. Cool silhouette

Good perspective and light. I like this better than the other refrigerator one I saw, so far.

I must say I can relate to this one, however, I am usually standing in front of another white container this early in the morning ;-)
