Greetings from the Critique Club
Wow. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to look at this fascinating image one more time. Of course it is beautiful and you were well rewarded by our voters for your efforts.
There's not much I can add to those comments you have already received, so I'll just say "thanks, again" and move on to the next person in line for a Critique.
Still, (as an avid SciFi reader) it was a pleasure to examine this image so -er - closely. I can almost find the Heinlein homesteads on the topo you have provided.

| MUCH better than the other moon shot, I really like the image quality of this image, nice details, texture and while I personally find it uniteresting, technically very well done. Gave this a 7. |

| Wow, now this is sharp and technically well carried out. Nonetheless, there is nothing particularly original or creative about this shot, which is just a centered composition of the moon. |

| Fantastic shot, can't wait to see what you used to get this!??!?!??! Guessing a 500mm lens with a teleconvertor wit a small sensor (x1.6) - possibly a digiscope... Good luck, oh and can't suggest any improvements!!! 10 |

| yes! the best photograph of the moon ive seen in this competition... unfortunatley i would catogorize this shot in a different competition... because the moon comes out from 6.pm until which means that. the picture does not tell me what time of the day you really shot it..... nice job though |

| I've seen quite a few shots of just the moon in these challenges. This is about as good as I've seen. Crisp and clear. It's not quite as flat as most. Still, it's not very exciting in it's composition or narrative. |

| I want to see things I haven't seen before on here. But it sure is a real good picture of the moon, golly. You must have nice equipment. It's too bad that I've seen five million pictures of waxing crescents and gibbouses and full moons and 3/4 moons and what have you. |

| Meets the challenge very well. Seems slightly dark. Other than that it is about as clear as they come and has good amount of space around it. The moon was in a good phase and it's always a good subject if you have the lense for it. Good shot. |

| Nice moon shot. From your corner of the world, your angle shows more craters than a similar moon shot in this challenge. Both shots have areas that look a little over sharpened. |

| Lovely shot. How does one get such a clear picture of the moon? Must you be in certain places within the world, or is it just about equipment? (The ones I've tried have tended to show what I believe to be atmospheric disturbances...) |
