I love monkeys so much, my fav animal. He is adorable, I just wish he didnt blend in to the background so much and maybe you could play with the sharpness of the shot but otherwise a great picture! |

They have such adorable faces. Something about the eyes looks a bit...odd to me. I wish they were as sharp and in focus as the mouth. |

Love the expression and general composition. The focus on the mouth is perfect but it would also be good to see that same very sharp focus on the eyes as well. That's only noticeable when you are looking for it so I think it's still a very good shot. |

Beautiful portrait of this animal. Look at those eyes! They look so human. |

The eyes seem slightly out of focus. The detailing on the face is good. Makes me think of Roddy McDowell in "Planet of the Apes." |

Cute expression but there are two things that make this shot pretty mediocre IMHO while it could have been great. 1. I dislike that the focus is on the mouth and not the eyes, also the eyes look somehow unnatural, did you do some spot editing on just the eyes? 2. The backround is just too dark for my taste, would much rather have seen something resembling his/her natural habitat as a backround. Other than that, pretty good. |

It is amazing how some get these shots. LOL...Not many monkey's where I live, even at the zoo. Cute! |

that's an ape...
K I'm just playing. nice portrait. the shallow DOF seems to make her eyes a little soft though. my only other complaintis how she *almost* blends with the background. It looks as though you've burned that background some...I'd have gone the other way - I'd have dodged it to separate her from it. anyway - just my opinion...no need to agree with it ;)

Great focus on the lips, but the eyes are a bit soft. |

Are you sure that's not an ape? He looks contemplative... |
