 My best friend just before the birth of her second child, in very early labor. A last minute "Oh heck, we forgot to take a belly shot!" on NewYearsEve. I love this shot... it is just HER, a light in my life... laughing even when it hurts.

Crop, neatimage a lot of noise, burn, dodge, enhanced the shadow for modesty, fixed hair, lightened teeth a bit, blurred and darkened the background, size and sharpen for web.

The choice of subject matter is ok. The image quality is ok. Has potential of being really creative. The composition needs a little work.

Well, it's brave and original, and a wonderfully welcome break from all the staged, sickly-sweet, "tender" mother images. Plus it's a fine image technically; it follows just enough "rules" to be photographically credible, but it breaks enough to remain delightfully unorthodox. Original thinking and confidently adventurous photographic technique: there's a rare combination! 10.

I like the concept, and the general execution of it, but am not crazy about the crop on this. It feels very lopsided to me. I do like the nice warm color tone.

Priceless image! I love the weddig ring over the belly button. Nice that she can still laugh at this late date. a little orange maybe?

CUTE!!! Hope this didn't put her in labor. Great title. I like the lighting too. I might do a touch desat of the yellow on her skintones. I'd take off the watch.
