| I do like the (almost) square format of this photo, combined with the B&W it reminds me of the good old medium format days. The only improvement I could think of would be to have wiped off the baby's mouth first. :) Great job. |

| This is so heartwarming. There are other similar compositions in this challenge, but this one has the most natural - least soft-focus / neatimage of them all, and therefore I like this one best. I love the way the baby is staring right at the camera, blowing those spit bubbles, and smiling :-) The tones (technical and emotional) are perfect in every way. |

| Ahhhhh...cute shot. Love the lighting, dof and b&w treatment. Possibly could've been improved by taking the shot more from camera left and making the "mother" a stonger element in the composition. Still very nice imagery and sure to do well. |

| Beautiful image. Likely a top ten finisher due to the "polished" look and post processing skill applied. It's always hard to get them to comply, but of course I think this would be mildly better without the slobber. Mine won't keep her mouth dry for 2 seconds though, so I know how it is. My only other suggestion would be to maybe have a little more room to the left of the baby's face. As it is, he or she seems a little crowded into the frame. The cropping of mother's face is, to me, well done and needs no work. Great shot that will likely net you a 6+. |

| I"m not normally into b+w, least of all for baby (and flower) shots, but this looks great. My only complaint is that for THIS CHALLENGE, there should be a bit more emphasis on the mother. Lovely photo, gave you a 9. |
