Took a series of these photos..loved all of them. Put my model in a large cardboard box which had holes punched into it. The box had the setting sun behind it and I used a smoke machine to give it that hazy feel.

He really doesn't look that youthful ... but is a lovely capture of him being almost wistful.

This guy looks familiar. An outstanding portrait. The backdrop is wrinkled in such a way as to evoke rays of light streaming in. Lighting is excellent. All around great shot. Bumping up.

This is a very good portrait, and I like the way the lighting is coming in from the side. Somehow the title seems a bit odd - you would expect with that title to see a child, not a full grown man, even if he is still in his younger years.
I do not let that interfere with scoring though, so it isn't a big issue. I just thought it odd - I look at this and first title that would come to mind is Contemplation. I like the over all feel of this (7)

I like the lighting here. I think this would look better in B&W since it's very orange at the moment.

Dramatic.. reminds me of the work of David (Dah-veed) in classical painting. I'd have worked a little more on the red toning in the skin, but that's a personal choice. Nice portrait.

Very lovely. Love how the light catches the mist(?) and dusts the skin.
