 taken when out on a shoot for another challenge.The shadows are from trees in parkland,the sunset effect finnished 3 minutes after this shot.

This I would agree about best of year. Wonderful mix of colors. Though that front shadow is bit distracting.

Great colors and plenty of Pop. In an average challenge that might have been enough. I predict that you'll do pretty well, but this is a tough field. Good job.

Nice textures! Not sure what cast the odd shadow across the bottom corner of this image, but it is distracting. The other thing that I have a hard time with is the purple sky.

Not sure I like the long shadow in the foreground. Sunsets are pretty, but they are hard to get to stand out. All this imo, obviously. Good luck!

nice idea, nice texture, good light, long exposure??, interesting color, great dof, I like the layered affect, the fg shadow is a little bit distracting but not bad, nice comp, blacks good whites need work, sharp, overall a nice job

Colors seem pushed into unrealistic areas. Looks like a landscape of mars, and there's nothing all that interesting going on.

colors are great but there is not much to the composition. it really lacks a sense of subject big time.

For some reason this doesn't look natural to me. Maybe it's because the sea is such a different colour to the sky, which it's supposed to be reflecting. Also I think this photo is missing a focal point.

Horizon seems to slope to left. Looks overprocessed. Whatever is dark on lower right seems to detract from composition.

Pretty colors in the sunset. The beach almost looks like moon surface in that lighting.

The shadow is actually distracting and I think this would be improved without it. I also think the photo could use something else to add interest to the photo. BOL
