Bottom third is just too dark. Did you try playing with filters to bring out more detail with the grasses and the leaves? Nice composition overall.

The silhouette of the tree, helps to balance this image...

Beautifully lonely tree - unfortunately a wee dark on my monitor. I love photos like this - nicely done :)

Beautiful, very peaceful and individual picture. almost lonesome feel to it. Great clouds really add to this.

At first glance, I liked this pic. Then as I studied it further, I became distracted by the features below the skyline. The apparent ocean on the left and the seagrass(?) behind the tree are too dark to understand, yet too bright to hide. I really love the idea for the scene, though.

A truly beautiful capture. The background sky sets of the tree beautifully. A very worthy entry in this challenge and a job very well done... :)

I like dark shots but this one is just too dark for my taste to rate fairly... Sorry.

Seems a bit out of focus.

This one seems a bit dark to me. Being that this is advance editing, I might have tried dodging some areas to bring them out more. I would love to be able to see more of the base of the tree, and the tall grasses growing beyond.

Overall I think this is a bit dark, since the bottom of the tree gets lost against the grass, but not enough to be a silhouette, which is kind of a hard-to-look-at limbo, if you know what I mean?
