 This shot was captured in one of Chile's National Parks during November 2005. I'd taken may pictures that day however this shot captured the late afternoon sunrays to turn teh berg a brilliant bright blue contrasting with the dark far off forest.

This is totally and utterly amazing. I wish I had been there to take ANY shot of this

The maximised potential of this shot has been lost through its size, it could have had even more huge impact being resized to 640 on one side. Lovely capture.

In a week I travel to Antarctica. I hope I see icebergs as lovely as this! You have done a splendid job capturing my platonic ideal of an iceberg. The contrast with the sky is very powerful. The forground (iceberg)/background(sky) tension adds interest to the photo. The light levels in the iceberg and what they reveal about the ice is fascinating. Well done! Among my top picks.

Beautiful Ice Berg would be more like it. Don´t really care for the pitch black sky, just makes it seem fake somehow even though I can see it´s been validated so no point deduction going on here, I assure you. However, the ice, I simply love it, the texture, light and blue colour. Gave this a 7.

I'm sure you've already heard how much more impact this would have, had you taken advantage of the 640 pixel thing. No matter, this image blows my visual mind. Just incredible.

What a beautifull picture, I'm just afraid that your score will not be as high as you expect mainly because it's too small. You should use the 640 pixels that we are allowed in the challenges.

Wow great shot. Can't be a real ice berg lit like that with a dark sky, but even so, the impact against the back background is very strong. Would have liked to have seen the full 640px tho! :)
