 Taken indoors, exposure/lighting, usm.
3 1/4 cups flour
1 cup castor sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbl maragarine
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 large eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla essence
For glazing
1 1/2 cup icing sugar
1/4 cup water
food colouring own choice
sprinkles
In a bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt.Add margarine. Wth mixer on medium mix for 2 mins until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
In another bowl combine eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add to flour mixture.
Gradually add remaining flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto floured board and knead for 1 minute. Use round cutters to cut out doughnuts.Fry the doughnuts in hot oil till golden brown. Cool on wire tray. Make glazing by adding boiling water to icing sugar with few drops of food colouring. With spoon top the doughnuts then add sprinkles to decorate. ENJOY!

Hmmmm, after having a look at this picture cannot resist to go to buy some doughnuts.The quality could be maybe better anyway !!

Nice colors and good use of DOF. The bite and arrangement make composition very appealing. Some reviewers might find the image noise to be a distracting technical flaw.

I think the focus is a little bit off, and the weak colors leave something to be desired. Also, there seem to be some noise/artifact problems. That said, it's not an altogether bad shot.

I like this, the bite adds a whole new texture and its fairly clear. Wondering what the pink and blue in the background is though.

I love the colors of this photo. It certainly looks yummy...there is a slight noise problem and it does seem in place to be out of focus. composition is well done.
