| The lighting here is too flat; since the subjects are so close in color increasing the contrast between them in some other way is essential. |

| The focus on this picture could be better, it feels a bit soft and grainy. I think it would have scored higher if it weren't for that. |

| Nice composition and framing here. IMHO the pink background is too similar to the flower in tonality to really make the contrast 'pop'. Setting this shot up with a higher contrast color may have emphasized the theme more. The lighting also seems a tad harsh on the flower with some shadows and underexposed areas. Just my opinion, nice shot nonetheless |

| Good subject choice and color. Are you shinging a red light on the subject, or just really boosted the saturation? I think the contrast against a pure white background might have worked a little better. |

| The red needs to be more saturated and perhaps brighter. It seems too much of the same tone with the background. |

| More detail on the leaves would have made this stronger. Maybe a different type of light to make it more dramatic. |
