 Shot RAW, slight tweaking, and then some curves and hue/saturation

This is a nice scarf of mine, that is very poofy, very fuzzy, and very pink.

I had originally pulled this and put this on my PAD, and then decided to resubmit after some encouragement, so here it is.

Bring on the DNMC folks for having a solid background, or saying my subject isn't offset, or whatever. I'm getting used to it, finally

Also coming from the 1-4-0 thread,

I thought this was a wonderful burst of color and I gave it a 9. That is higher than my votes on any of the top ten in this challenge!

I'm afraid this is not very helpful because I have no clue about why it scored so low.

Coming from the 1-4-0 thread,

I'm a lover of negative space, this has plenty :) for me, the 'poofy' scarf could be sharper and it looks like you over corrected the exposure in the RAW converter to get the bg pure white?

I do like the idea and look forward to seeing version 2 ;)

Creative shot Pidge. Maybe there's just too much background here. However, I do like the burst of color in this image. I gave it a 6.

colorful and good use of negitave space. Only thing I might change is to back up the background a bit and off set the flash a bit to keep the shadows from perfectly mimicing your subject. Hope that isn't someones hair.
