CUTE PHOTO, YOU SHOULD USE THE WHOLE 640 PIXELS SO THAT THE IMAGE IS LARGER FOR US TO SEE
01/31/2006 01:58:17 AM
So cute, wish it were larger.
01/30/2006 08:12:54 PM
It's very too small, you should use the 640 pixels that we are allowed to use. You would gain at least 1.5 points.
01/29/2006 09:50:50 PM
Your picture seems to be a nice image but due to the small size I am unable to see enough detail to judge. Your image should be as close to the Maximum allowed size as possible. "File Size: No larger than 150 KB (153,600 bytes). Dimension: No dimension may be shorter than 160 pixels or longer than 640 pixels." Your dimensions are 8,278 bytes and 160 x 227 pixels. If you are receiving lower scores than you anticipated it probably is due to the small size more than the contents of the picture.

She is quite the cutie! Normally shots this small get my little pat instructions about reading the tutorial about posting photos to DPC, and using all of the image size available to contestents. (Consider it said) This shot even though it is very small and tough to see the detail, caught my eye. There is a charm about this little girl that comes through loud and clear. I am going to give this a 6 because I believe this image if larger would really impress me. Please repost after the challenge to your portfolio a larger version of this image!

This looks like it could be great, but I can't really see anything as the shot is so small. Resizing to 640 would have helped with this.
01/26/2006 05:33:01 AM
sweet...
01/24/2006 06:04:50 PM
Just way to small, sorry. All this just imo, obviously. Good luck!
01/22/2006 11:42:51 AM
This looks like it might be really sweet, but I can't judge this photo in its present size. Sorry.
01/21/2006 04:23:20 PM
Cute face but so small, hard to see
01/21/2006 02:03:22 PM
Its a niec portrait but way too small! Yu should use the full size really.
01/21/2006 12:10:26 AM
Cute picture, cute subject. Focus needs improvement, then you could display the image larger.
01/20/2006 10:24:32 AM
Cute image, however the size is too small to enjoy.
01/20/2006 06:45:58 AM
you have to make it smaller, it's too big for me to follow.
01/19/2006 07:51:13 PM
nice use of natural framing. Try visiting the tutorial on how to size entries for DPC - would have liked to see this one larger.
01/19/2006 07:47:57 PM
cute but a tad small to really get a feel for your photographic abilities. The framing is a bit much for such a small shot. Cute kid!
01/19/2006 05:36:09 PM
So much potential. Too bad it isn't bigger.
01/19/2006 01:09:15 PM
Too small to judge
01/19/2006 09:29:28 AM
Very pretty little girl. I can't image why you submitted it so small though. You know you'll really take a hit on your score for that.
01/19/2006 04:46:41 AM
please read the tutorial for preparing images for challenges. you have no doubt lost a lot of votes due to your image size. as best i can tell, this would have scored a LOT higher if the image had been larger. don't be discouraged, and DON'T QUIT! better luck next time.
01/18/2006 11:07:39 PM
9 from me...good luck!
01/18/2006 07:30:44 PM
I remember seeing this photo in your portfolio and loving it - going back to it to show my husband. I loved the look on her face and the framing on the boards and the DOF. But - what happened to the size???? Why is this copy so small?
01/18/2006 01:15:58 PM
the size is really going to hurt your score, but I live the girls expression and the composition. 8
01/18/2006 10:54:38 AM
Way too small! I'm sure you're tired of reading that by now. I like the composition quite a bit and she has a lovely natural expression. Her eyes do draw the viewer in. Unfortunately, at this size I really can't evaluate the image quality. Too bad.
01/17/2006 11:11:08 PM
She has such a sweet expression! Need to make full use of the size allowed here so people can see the picture.
01/17/2006 10:27:15 PM
I'm sure you've heard all about the image size thing, by now. Such a shame, because it seems to be a charming image. Great expression and interesting composition. Looks like you've got a good eye.
01/16/2006 04:00:28 PM
Good pic but sized incorrectly. If I can't see the picture I can't judge it. 2
01/16/2006 03:58:57 PM
The tones look very good in this. Unfortunately the photo size is so small it is hard to get a full idea of the details. It appears that the focus is soft on the girl. Would love to see a larger size of this photo.
01/16/2006 03:47:23 PM
Too small. Your photo should be larger to show your detail.
01/16/2006 02:09:22 PM
too small, unfortunately, and the frame seems to be too serious for its content, white would be better IMHO
