| cool shallow DOF effect. I think the impact could be somewhat improved if the background scissors were placed so that one of its fingerholes provides a circular frame for the eye of the needle. |

| Second look, lovely DOF and good macro capture of the eye of the needle, nice to see what was caught in my toe all those years ago when I trod on one and it broke (bad memories - fantastic shot) Bumping up score. |

| The depth of field appears to be absolutely spot-on. The background seems a little 'blocky', at least on my monitor. Perhaps it was over-compressed? |

| The background is blurred nicely--we recognize the objects which places the main subject in context and the color scheme is simple and pleasing. Nice job! |
