there is something really different and amazing about this. I think there is a human quality to the bird that makes him/her more emotional or something. The crop is perfect and the pole in the dstance --- just very unique and well done. The title doesn't matter but I would call it something more dramatic. I'd be curious to know where / how this was taken. PS: I hope the bird is real :) ... 9 |

This doesn't really do much for me, as the brigtness in the lower left draws the eye away from what might otherwise be an interesting silhouette. |

Very different and yet odd - maybe I had my fill of the darn pigeons in Europ this fall! |

wow. This is such a beautiful image. Perhaps next time adding some more negative space would have improved this type of photo, but bird don't exactly sit around and model. : ) Nice work. |

Great silhouette. I like the power lines in the background. On my monitor, at least, there appears to be a little grain in the clouds on the left. I'm not sure that I like that too much, as it seems to jar a little when compared to the cleanliness of the silhouette itself. That said, it's still a very appealing shot and worthy of a good score. |

wow, I never noticed that pigeons had such sharp beaks...
nice composition here, good use of shapes and space-
I think if there were still some detail on the bird, this photo would be stronger. |

at first i didn't think much of this shot. "On another silhouette shot, what ever". then i looked at it again and i realized it was a close up silhouette of a pigeon head. Damn, you don't see that often. I like the post in back adn the light is good. |
