A nice capture with lots of tone. The crop looks a little awkward to me but perhaps it's just a personal prefference. Nonetheless, a good job... :)

This is a beautiful photo but I'm not sure it fits the challenge. There's nothing more natural than a bee on a flower, it isn't odd at all.

stunning shot that would win in any other challenge...but the topic was ODD couple, not COMPLIMENTARY couples...birds and flowers go together, they are not odd.

Nice photo, but these two things go hand in hand. A bee needs a flower and the flower needs the bee. Odd couple?

The perfect couple ... have a hard time seeing the oddness. The colours are great although the flower overwhelms the bee.

I wasn't going to comment on this image but it's bugging(no pun intended)me so bad I have to. Flowers and bees are a perfect match. Bees gather nectar and pollen enabling plants to reproduce. One doesn't exisit with out the other. Although it is a wonderful photo with vibrant colors and clarity, it doesn't qualify as an odd couple. Maybe if it was one of those hybrid flowers that produce no pollen then it might be considered an odd couple but I doubt that was your intent.

Very, very nice photo. Not an odd couple, however. They're literally made for each other. Scoring low in spite of the fact that the image is very, very good, because otherwise we'd end up with every challenge a free study.
