 Converted from RAW, cloned for dust and a small distraction lower left, burned upper right slightly, small bump in red and yellow hue/sat, then unsatisfied with image as was, started a new version using that as base.

Here I used color balance layer to clarify the colors in the brights, neutrals and darks, and set this layer in soft light mode. This crisped up the colors and shifted to a cooler range of blues like we have now. Neat Imaed a little as well.

Sigh... SO close... Just my luck to snag one of the very few challenges where 7+ is not good enough to ribbon. Was at 7.2906 at rollover, 203 votes; lost 7 votes and a chunk of average in the weeding out... Thanx for the kind words everyone.

This is so lovely, Bear. So close to a ribbon - I'm shocked how much the score changed at the rollover. Your sunrise/sunset pictures are always hauntingly lovely. I'd love to go on a photo outing with you to see how you set up and then most especially, I'd love to watch you edit your pictures so I could learn some of your outstanding editing skills!

Beautiful reflection captured here. It's mirror-like suface make the boat appear to me floating in mid air. The pastels are a wonderful compliment to an already gorgeous image. (10)
