 this is a wishing well just at the end of a rain storm. the sun was combining with drops in the water. there was a mist upon the water. i thought it was absolutely beautiful and moody. i thought the solar reflection added to the magical feeling. i'm sure i'll get over-exposure comments but people who can't understand when it's good to break the rules aren't of interest to me anyway :) ...

The reflection of the light really sells this shot. I like the contrasts between the lighter and darker elements as well. I think the image would stand well alone without the border though (yeah, it's small, but i'm stretching for some sort of criticim = ) Nice work. -10- Mav

Ooh, too bad you couldn't clean up that light. I don't mind the brightness, it adds to the shot, but if one of the leaves had camouflaged the lamp itself, I think it would have been even more effective.

Creative idea! Very nice! Nice touch with the ripple; the lighting makes it feel like something magical just happened after the wish. My favorite so far in this challenge. 10

Absolutely gorgeous lighting. Great exploration of light and shadow. Love the coins at the bottom of the water. Something about the composition doesn't do it for me, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Perhaps the ratio of leaves to water isn't quite right... 8

Very calming shot. I would love to sit next to the water and toss coins for a wish or two :) The light just makes this photo pop !
