This is my husband, Jack. I'd like to thank him very much for letting me take this unflattering picture. He really doesn't look quite this wrinkled up and grizzled. The editing emphasized the wrinkles.

Not sure if I like the red tones in the image, especially after so many stark B&W in this challenge, but I am giving extra thought to this portrait.

this came out as a strange brown for me. i think it would have been higher impact if it had been jet black, but otherwise good crisp focus.

Nice enough portrait (exposure and focus are good) but not much "wow" factor. Just a good, low-key picture of a man.

Nicely done. I'd crop so you can't see the shirt and he's more of a "floating head." You could do a selective color adjustment in basic and up the black and that'd create less distraction by the white of the plaid.

I like the lighting and it certainly fits the challenge. 7
