There aren't many waterfall shots that work well in B/W. This one does pretty well though. Something about the tonal range and/or contrast seems to make it lose a bit of detail in the extreme lighter & darker areas, but overall a very nice job. Great movement captured.

Nice. It does have a very similar look to oskar's ribbon winning entry - but yours is not as smooth and there's no foreground in yours. Overall, your image is rather more centered than oskar's, which gives it a feeling of static that is somewhat different than the feel in oskar's image. Good work though.
But you could have cloned out the dustbunnies :) |
