 Yeah, I decided to parody my own shot - hey - I already had the props. Well not the dog... I borrowed Maximum (Max) from a neighbor. He's an English Mastiff and was really interesting to work with as he weighs about 160lbs (or ~40lbs more than me!!). Did 2 different shoots with Max before getting some good shots. First time through the hat fell of about every 2 seconds and he drooled so much he slobbered up the backdrop paper. Figured it out 2nd time around - used duct tape to stick the hat to his head and had 2 assistants to help mop drool and feed treats. lol A fun shoot really, I'd been wanting to get Max into the studio for a while. Got some lovely non-hat shots for his mommy & daddy too.

I love this variation on the Chihuauhau pic. I much prefer big dogs to small ones!!
