a subtle light source from the closet would add more interest. |

Probably the most terrifying of the bunch to me: The obscene darkness of the photo along with the vague subject is a perfect match for tingling that kid-time fear of nights. |

I'd probably really like this if I knew what I was seeing -- maybe some low, soft lighting to help us out here. |

Dark but still an interesting shot. |

This one should remind us all of at least one night. Good lighting. |

This is definitely a neat photo... things that go 'bump' in the night were a fear for me as a child. The only improvement that I may suggest for this photo would have been to have a light of some sort behind the door for some added effect... I think you did an excellent job of creating the lighting for this photo. good work! = 8 - jmsetzler |

i think the darkness is a good idea but there are conventions for conveying the idea of 'darkness' without making a picture that is difficult to see. spotlights on important details, work, and shadows from interesting angles. mag 99 |

Extremely subtle. I like it, even though it's almost too dark to view, cool idea. Maybe a nightlight is needed here. 8 Swash |

Just dark enough to be realy scarry. Is that a baseball bat and glove leaning on the door frame, that is the onlything I see that detracts from a perfect picture. One of my top ten picks thi9s week. |

i would have been a little better if it was just a tad lighter .. i understand that you are trying to protray the night time ... but maybe even a nightlight glow and a shadow or something could have helped :o) .. cute concept though |

Even though you are trying to show night, a little illumination was necessary for this. Maybe could've made it look like moon light coming thru a window or something. |

Good shot. I think if it were mine I'd crop out the furniture on the right. |

Good idea. Did you shoot it dark or make it dark later? |

Well done - the door is leaning to the right just a little too far for my taste. I would also like to see just a little more light, not much. (then I would probably put it right back where you have it). Good Job. |

A little bit of scary light, perhaps shining through a window onto the wall, would really make this a top notch photo. Still a good one and interestingly creative. - 8 |

Good job on a cute photo. My only suggestion is that It could use a bit more contrast. |
