Great fun doing this one - the origami unicorn took almost as long to make as the shoot.

Curves adjustment used to darken the image (probably get slated for it being too dark though) in keeping with the films lighting. Only other adjustments were cropping (to 16:9 aspect ratio) and USM.

I had to come back a leave another comment. I can`t believe this picture scored so low, it`s a scene from the film; unlike some of the higher placed picture which are just interpretations.

of course it meets the challenge... it can't be to dark...lol.. (Blade a very dark movie)...maybe a little more atmosphere could pump this up a bit...

Nice pic. It´s a bit underexposed and noisy though...

Tones, lighting are just right for this film, but I have to ask: What is a silver paper unicorn doing in one of the most interesting and bizarre films ever made?

one of my favorite movies. this shot though is far too dark. i recommend searching on the web for how to 'adjust levels' in your photos.

Much better than the too-literal interpretations or this challenge - made me smile

Nice! I loved that movie ... although I don't remember the origami being quite that large. ;)

This is really grainy in the hands. I think that the redness bothers me a bit, and the grainyness makes it look like it's low quality. I havn't seen this movie, so don't know the meaning of the oragami, but I'll take your word for it. I think that the lighting on the oragami is ok, but not on the hands. It looks to me like a unicorn. The hand on the right is distracting as we can't really see much of it at all. I do like how you put your subject to the left of the photo though. Definately better than dead center for this subject.

I admire your cheek.. The photo sucks...that simply isn't real as I can see your hands ;)
