Challenge: Window Framed (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Nikon D50
Lens: Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 ED
Location: Ft. Defiance, AZ
Date: Apr 21, 2006
Aperture: f/7.1
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Galleries: Architecture, Persuasive
Date Uploaded: Apr 22, 2006

Levels adjusted, curves adjusted, gamma adjusted, sharpened, cropped, frame applied.
I expect that a few will not see the small building and the window in which the subject is displayed! Recipe for a low score, but I like the image and feel that it meets the challenge perfectly.

Surreal shot, midday isn't a good time for photos though.

Not much I can say about this photo except it´s a bit blah composition wise, I can´t get any sense of scale or dimension from it.

I might have cropped more off the left and bottom to provide more detail of the virgin.

Why did somebody put that there?

Nice colors.

I think that a closer position and a tighter crop would have helped this one out a great deal. I do not see the window framing in the shot.

This doesn't seem to be exatly "window framed", nice photo though..

I'm not really a fan of the border here, I think a simple black or white one would look better.

Is this a window? Why do you use this blue border? It does not look good.

The blue border does not add to the shot. Your photo has enough good colors on its own.

the colors seem to be a bit off & it looks like you tried something in a photo editing program to adjust your photo. I'm sorry to say it didn't quite work out.

What an interesting place for a statue and such. Not really sure about the window framed content, I'm guessing you're talking about the arch around the statue. It's not a bad shot per say but nothing here really holds my interest for very long and the lighting is very harsh. The colors also look a bit off, especially on the right side of the rock the statue is on. The border does nothing for this shot, the blue is much too dark but I don't vote according to borders but I know of several others who do. If the lighting was softer, the colors were more consistant and I saw more of a "window framed" idea this would at least be a 5 or 6 but as is a 3, sorry
