IMHO, I think there is too much going on in this photo, which takes you away from the main subject. Its too bad you couldnt have shot the car on its own.

Grey and red are not complementary colors. I think the shot would be better without the purple car, but you probably couldn't help that.

You should play with contrast + saturation.

A Morgan, always wanted one. As far as complementary colors, grey and red may look good together they are not however complementary. I like the car 6

Perhaps they do, but they don't really satisfy a challenge on complementary colors. This is more of a snapshot.

The first time I entered a comp. colours challenge, I didn't pick colours that were opposites on a colour wheel (search complementary color on the net). Even though there is a hint of green in this photo, it feels to me that you really didn't intend for the green to be the complement of the red car. Outside of the challenge, I think I would have liked a simpler composition ... maybe a shallower DOF to give the car more visual weight. JMO.
