I thought this shot should have placed much higher and was one of my highest rated photos in this challenge. This photo is well thought out and fits the challenge description to the tee, whereas many other photos seemed to be taken first and then looked for a title that fit the photo. IMO you were robbed!!! Well done.

Great job queenie!

I like the BG... nice soft variance...

I also noticed that the edges were a bit soft, but more than that, I noticed that the stand itself is not perfectly straight.

Might have nudged you up a few spots to beat me! :)

Nice interpretation. Maybe it's me but it looks like it's leaning slightly to the left. I like the silhouette and the graduated blue background.

Quite a nice turn of phrase. I like the simplicity of it, the starkness of color and centered composition. I might have liked the feet of the table included in the shot. 8

Amusing! I think this is such a simple composition that it needs to be absolutely pin sharp for maximum impact. It looks just a little less than that for me.

LOL!!! ... that is freekin hillarious! I love the set-up too - just enough to know it's a "night stand" and making it look like an object of the night. Brilliant. There are many awesome images so far and this is just another ... gonna go 9'r on this one.
