Greetings from the Critique Club Mel.
Your wife is certainly lovely and I am quite fond of the pose. Her stare is quite inviting as well.
The first thing the voters will notice is the image size. You will find that you will automatically start out at a disadvantage when you post up an shot of such small dimensions. As far as technicals go I think the exposure is fine. I do think you need some unsharp mask and levels adjustments here to bring out some pop. Also, for a glam shot you'll want to try a different backdrop and something other than a shirt. She'll need some make-up as well. Not necessarily needed for her beauty but for a glam shot it is a must.
Overall a pretty lady that you should be proud to show off.
Thanks for the opportunity to critique this image Mel.
Cheers - Phil |

Crop is too tight for my taste and I don't get the 'glamor' part of it from just a face |

Would have been nice to see a bit more of her face. I like the angle though. |

First off, Glam magazines aren't photojournalism, they are glamour photography. Secondly this image doesn't say glam to me. It just doesn't work. |

You should take advantage of the full 640 pixels. Your photo will always rate higher when you do. |
