Haha look at this man! You've got quite a few in your portfolio now, nice to see it grow! I like the lighting and contrast in this picture and the slightly bleached look. You best ring me sometime too. |

This must be herald as one of the truly great studies in the DPC arena. This is a piece of art that is gut wrenching and then beautiful. It is an idea brought to fruition with so much visual power that another look is required. In my opinion, this is by far the most impressive image I have seen in the corridors of DPC. I recall how my senses were floored when I first laid eyes on Dali's crusufixion. Well, a similar feeling overtook me when I came upon this image. It is one that I can call a masterpiece.
Congratulations and I am so happy that your super effort walked away with the coveted BLUE! |

One of a very few which I consider to have the true look and feel of a movie poster. The only critisism here is the crop. Would have like to see it longer to reflect the dimensions of a true poster... Well done... :) |

I didn't know there'd been more than one. I'm torn; it's a technically superb photograph, it's convincingly staged (and cleverly inverted in orientation), but for all its visual impact it still has a phony, theatrical look about it. Of course, that doesn't make it a bad image, in this or any other context. Maybe it's because this Christ looks so much like an Australian fast bowler (that's cricket) called Jason "Dizzy" Gillespie that I just can't take him seriously as a messiah. It would certainly make a very effective movie poster, where its undemanding and unequivocal qualities would be an advantage. 8. |

Fantastic! it seems like the model has long hair. the only thing I think could make it more interseting is if the hair was down and matted and sweaty. |

very emotive. Nice job. Duotone (amlost) works very well here. I think the only suggestion i could make would be to move him down in the frame, so there is more black space above him than below, and move his feet forward slightly so he's not at such an extreme angle from the viewer. As it is now, his position draws you eye down his body, out his feet, and out of the image. |
