Congratulations on high score! Its a perfect composition. All it needed was a little different PP to be a great submission. I would agree with most on "blur" thing. I "feel" use of glow filter to get similar processing might have given better results. Well, this is the only area I could see which might be improved as everything else about this photo is just right :)

You have got some great photos in your portfolio. "I never saw the sea..." is great!

Have a nice day!

With the dark hat, beard, dark sweater and all, his face is a bit lost to me. Other than that this is a beautiful portrait with nice color and softness.

Sorry, not digging the softfocus at all, have always hated that style so it´s just personal dislike for the technique. Just wanted to tell you I would have voted higher if it had been sharper/clearer.

Nice portrait, but the b/g blur is excessive.

The blur is a little much for my taste but it does give it a dreamy quality... what's he dreaming up on his art board?

I like the soft green and the overall feel of this shot. This photo itself is like a painting. Well done.

too dark, not enough separation between subject and background

I think the blur filter works well in this photo. Very good composition and I instantly got the feeling the subject was a painter.

I am captivated and puzzled by this image at the same time. The shallow DOF is both captivating and then troubling, I can't figure out if its eal or artificial. Nevertheless, its a fascinating image

to much ... no I mean way to much NeatImage on this! this soft feeling is realy not what I like vote you down for that. Though I like the photo it self, and meets the challenge well. Just next time use less filters.

Very nice portrait. The yellow in the background is a bit distracting, I'd probably try to remove that so that it doesn't draw the eye away from the subject.

The blurriness of the background distracts from the subject

Like the environment - personally I would like the features a little lighter

Perhaps a bit overly soft compared to what I would prefer but the pose and the subject work really well. The pose in particular could easily have come across as a little forced but to me it doesn't at all. Nice shot.
