I like this idea alot, perhaps cuz I found a truck in even worse shape in a redwood forest. I tried different angles and lighting and couldn't capture something memorable... I'm not sure you've succeeded either... I'd like to see a perspective from below, looking up... or perhaps more of the field in which the truck is sitting. 5 sjgleah |

crisp focus and nice perspective. Colors well defined and true. Aptly titled |

Did you squeeze this photo to fit the proportions? That is a real no no in my book. It is still pretty cool with lots of neat details.

I was wondering where i left my car... I went to the bar with a few friends, had a few drinks, and called a cab to take me home... oh well... it looks like someone stole my radio :( Can ya give me a lift? ... excellent shot :) = 8 - jmsetzler |

Old T36 isn't doing so well any more! :-/ I will pass along a bit of the advice that was given me on my last vehicle picture, it looke like you just walked up and took a picture from a standing position. Try taking the picture from a diferent angle, may be low to the ground giving the feeling of power and strength to your picture, FWIW. |

i really like the tones that are used in this color. even the sky is darkish. perhaps i would choose a different angle and composition though - for example to emphasize the size of the field relatively to the truck, if that's possible. |

What can I say, I love rust...old factories, busted windows...buildings...barns....and general rust. I think it's so interesting. Interesting subject matter. 9 - KDJohnson |

a good place to get strong B&Ws. Rust always looks good as a texture too! |

Very good shot! The color, angle, subject... everything works here I think... if you had less compression, the jpeg artifacts I can see would be gone. The image is only 80k or so. |
