This is the road over Cumbres Pass in Colorado on the way to Chama, New Mexico. The sun was just setting and I got some nice reflection on the road. The other reflection to the left side are the tracks of the Cumbres-Toltec Narrow Gauge Railway which runs between Antonito, CO and Chama, NM. We drove up to Chama that evening to eat out and I got lots of nice road pictures, liked this one the best.
I had another entry for Beatles - it was for Nowhere Man but I kind of like this Road one better. It was a hard choice though. Here it is: 
Editing: Crop, select sky - invert selection; exposure adjustment on ground; adjustment layer for levels on ground; invert selection again, adjustment layer for levels on sky; clone out small post along side of road, healing brush on reflection on left side of road near the top, noise removal, reselect lower part of picture-do a very slight amount of diffuse glow filter, resize, smart sharpen, spot heal on a couple of white specks on the grass near the front of the picture, save for web. |

| This is the first of this title I've seen. Wonder how many more? You did a wonderful capture of light on the road. Having the roadsides silhouetted really brings out the perspective of the road. |
