| Lacking composition, really, I'm afraid. Has the feel of un-cropped full frame image which badly needs at least a judicious crop. I don't see what the immediate appeal is supposed to be, nor do I feel that my eye is guided through the image, and both those elements, I think, have to be strongly present to make such a simple image work. |

| Great idea, but it seems to me that the feathers are kind of...jumbled. Maybe it would've been better if you just used one or two feathers? |

| I like the texture and the details but I wish the background color was some other color than balck, as the feathers look kind of stuck and not particularly light.. I feel that a light backround would work better here. |

Nicely done lighting, and good composition in the sense of balance of subject placement and negative space.
personally I would have preferred just 1 or two feathers instead of so many. |

| Very nice shot. The focus is tack sharp and the details of the feathers are well demonstrated. The very bottom edge of the feathers has a odd gray edge. The black background has a couple areas that needed to be cloned due to hot spots or white specks. Overall a very nice entry - just wish more time had been taken to clean up the background as this was advanced editing and simple cloning would have corrected it. |
