What a beautiful photo. Yes, your corrections after submitting it probably made it even better, but it is beautifully framed and really tugs at the heartstrings. To me the capture is what photography is all about. This is a photo your girls will love when they grow up. I've added it to my favorites. Job well done! Dawn (PS> Had I been a member at the time, I'd have voted it a nine.) |

I am very grateful that so many of you made good and constructive comments. Mostly I would like to answer your questions: Yes, I should have performed a gamma adjustment, which I did the next day after sending it. Unfortunately, I came back so late from the beach that Sunday, that I was in a big hurry to make the deadline, and I had only time to resize it and send it. I'll never do that again. The title is hard to translate, since there is no term for that in English, but it means something like a spiritual cloning, in Spanish. Yes, they are twins, and my reason to live. The picture was not turned upside down, it was shot that way, and they were really sleeping, otherwise I would have been able to take only fast action photos from them. Thanks again to all for such nice comments.

Nice shot, but a bit grainy, especially toward the bottom of the pic, or it may just be that the graininess is more noticeable there. |

Nice composition and subject - but could it use a little more contrast? |

I performed a gamma adjustment on this, and it really improved the skin and saturation when I darkened it a bit. |

what a neat 'sister' picture...they are sisters, aren't they? The coloring looks a little greyish...a slight boost in saturation might help. Great job! 7 Lisa |

There are so many great photos in this challenge and this is one of them. It is one of my favorites this week because it creatively tells a story, has excellent composition, and is very colorful. |

very nice. You could darken the colors to make what colors you have more bold |

Not sure what the title means, but nice shot... it could be framed a little bit more to the left... it seems just a bit unbalanced |
