WOW, this is wonderful and a vast improvement over the original. I love the depth of field and the catchlights in her eyes. The composition is fabulous, too. EXCELLENT!! |

Hey there from the Critique Club
Camera Work/Technical: The eyes are beautiful and crisp, but the rest of the image is a bit too soft. I do like images with the angelic blur, but I think that this one is a bit overdone. I am not sure if it was the post-processing or the extremely shallow depth of field, but there is a bit too much of it. It looks like a neat image layer with a mask over the eyes and mouth.
Lighting: Your lighting is pretty nice. Almost everything is nicely exposed with all elements evenly lit. I would like to see that hair lit a little more. Just a little detail was lost there.
Composition/Content: I do prefer this offset composition to the original, more centered composition. You captured a very nice expression that she will love for years.
My Opinion: The coloring and post-processing were better in the original. The composition and lighting in this one was much better. A combination of the two would have probably pushed the top 10.

Incredible work, I really like how the DOF favors the eyes and mouth. Beautiful model with a captivating expression. |

It would be nice to see a little more detail in her eyes. NI takes away her natural skin. |

You have captured a great expression. The next trick is to try and avoid the window reflections in her eyes. |

Fantastic image of Tamara Peter! This definitely is a DEFINITE improvment from your last photo of Tamara! The eyes, the DOF used are terrific! She would be proud. From your shot two years ago, yes my friend, you've come a long way ;) Great job Peter! |

Very well composed. The blure effect is too srong on the face. I think it's because the borders of the blur effect are too clean cut. |

She's grown up a bit in the last couple of years and you've improved your skills as well. ;-) If my research is correct, this is Philos31. And talk about an improvement! To be honest, I thought this was Manny's (I hope you take that as a compliment). Outstanding. The reflection in her eyes makes this portrait sing. 9 |

Hey I recognize this one. This must be one of Peter/Philos31. Correct me if I'm wrong ;) Lovely shot, although I feel that her skin is a bit too soft. |

don't recall the original, but this looks fantastic and I hope you do well with this...
neat image? if it is, that's the only negative about this as the skin doesn't look natural...8 |

Great expression, just spoiled a little by your reflection in her eyes which is distracting. |

Nice eyes. Good skin tone. The DOF is good. Maybe a touch overdone on the Neat Image for my taste, but still a very nice portrait. |
