For some foolish reason, I thought there might be fireflies about - but it's too early in the season for them. So I did some 30 second self-portraits on a pedestrian bridge.
(Actually, there were fireflies about - I know because there were pictures in the local newspaper ... BUT they were in different parts of the prefecture, too far away.)

I put it through NeatImage first, cropped then USM and levels in PS Elements, resize and USM again (twice). I usually try for the most basic post processing; the NI really helped with the noise reduction.

No Rubber Duckies were entered into this picture.

Very good job at holding still for 30 seconds! But you should have brought a duckie for company... :-)

nice shot, fantastic rays! i like how the lights build a complex geometry of the balustrade. the lights/shadows on the floor are great.
perhaps even better in b/w...

This would have been a very strong image with out the person sitting there. Great light and lines.

Don't move! Well done, but too bad nothing could be done about the bright lights.

how did you get your subject to sit so still for 30 seconds? Nice job on the photo

It looks like this could be rotated slightly to the left; I find myself tilting my head when I look at it. Nice picture otherwise.

take the model out of the picture (or have him totally dark) would have made this shot much better.

Hmm.. How in the world did you get the light to work so well for you. The starry affect is lovely
