This was taken from Inspiration Point at Corona Del Mar beach in Southern California. I took a road trip down PCH and intended to scout out every beach for a decent shot. I hit Corona Del Mar, Laguna Beach, San Onofre, San Clemente, San Diego, Coronado Island, and Newport Back Bay in the course of one night/morning. Oddly enough, this was actually one of the first shots I took and ended up being the best of the lot. Nothing spectacular, but I think it should do decent. If only I lived in Iceland! ;) Post-processing included crop, Noise Ninja, adjustment layers (Levels, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation), and Resize for Web. |

| I didn't vote on this challenge but I looked through the thumbs and really liked this one, the contrast between the blues and the red is awesome. congrats on a top 20 shot ;) |

| Very nice. Curve of water is attractive. People nicely silhouetted against wet sand, palms nicely silhouetted against colorful sky. A bit too much banding near sun. |
