 Saw this beutiful rose my father had bought in rememberence of my Mother who died a few weeks ago and wanted to capture it so he would always remember it, I saw how soft and velvety the petals looked and having been just watered saw all the reflections of life in it so I thought it would be a good entry for Soft focus. hope I'm right

A nice image and very captivating. I spent tons of time trying to figure out what the reflection was, and still don't know. Will be back to re-visit this one for sure.

This is gorgeous, only thing I would have liked to have seen different is to not see the reflection in the bottom water drop.

Nice color and soft focus but that big reflection in water is bit too distracting for me.

The petals have a nice softness to them and I like the colour but feel the reflection in the droplets is a little distracting (imho)

This is a wonderful shot but IMHO the bottom bubble with your reflection is really distracting. 8

The reflections confuse me, but it seems like there was a specific intention in mind (about placement and such) so I'm not really bothered by it. I like the color and think you picked a fitting border.

you're reflection in the water adds some humour to this, actually. i like the way it looks you take pictures; it seems you arms are stretched out and you're zapping the flower. the water does have the negative impact of uglifying the rose a little bit though, i'm afraid. it also feels unbalanced composition-wise; i wonder how it might look with a bot cropped off the bottom? giving this a 5.

I don't care for all the reflections. Not in a close-up anyway. I think they're cool when they're in a drop, but not inside the flower.
