Great use of the rule of 3rds. I had a recent picture request for an image just like this. This is a very useable shot. The fawns eyes are looking right at you and ears perked up and at alert. The black eyes and nose pop right out of this image. I think it needs a little more color. I wonder where mom is. I have been 'hunting' for a buck in this similar pose.

Something about this is very sweet. The spots and the pale colors certainly suit the challenge. I like her placement in the shot. 7
