| Great detail. The reflections in the middle of the left eye and the upper right of the right eye are a bit distracting. Good color and composition. |

| You don't get much closer than that! Excellent detail with nice depth of field. I think this is the closest I've seen a dragonfly head. Good one. |

| For heaven's sakes! I have got to get a digital slr and lenses just so I can take macros like these. It's not all just in the equipment though (but it helps!), as you have a VERY well taken shot here, much harder than it looks I suspect. Bit too much glare and noise for me to give above 8. Shame the background isn't more black. Did you try NeatImage? 8 |

| Incredible detail in the bugs eyes. The reflections off of the eye really makes them very interesting. Love the honeycomb shapes in the eye. Beautiful colors. |
