| The trunk is washed out, and the composition would be better if vertical and more of the tree were shown. Good idea though. |

| Very soft, but not soft enough to give it a nice fantasy look. If you tried to adjust focus to make clearer, that takes away the soft effect. |

| the reason I feel you're not meeting the challenge here is because there's a great amount of attention to the ground, yes as well as the tree trunk. you have achieved your aim, though by the illumination. 4 |

| Sun shining down in these pools is special - but very hard to photograph without a tripod which of course one never has with one at such times.... |
