| ok, so old is a relative term. the problem is that all of the people voting will be older than this little girl, so to them, she is young. you might have tried putting her next to a baby to emphasize the relativity of the concept of age. other than that, it's a great shot, and I get your point, so I'm going to score it well. |

| Her expression looks so grown up and concerned. They really do grow up too fast, I think. I had initially scored this low, thinking it was a stretch of meeting the challenge, but after studying it, i think it does. karmat |

| Wow, this is actually a great photo. She looks much older/wiser than her age... and I can't put my finger on what aspect exudes that. This is beyond photographic technique. |

| Really doesnt fit the challenge, there is no sense of 'getting older' here, its just a kid in a car. Reasonably taken shot, though. |

This is a cute, cute picture-- good lighting, good composition, and I love the black and white. The only problem is that other than the title it doesn't meet the challenge.

| This is a cute twist title to attempt to meet the challenge. The photo is a very good black and white shot. It evokes emotion, is well focused and composed, but without the title, I have a hard time connecting to the challenge. 5 Swash |

| I think you need to have children to understand this one. When I glance at my kids, now almost 20 years old, I can think..... wow, he's getting old in a hurry. but I have had to spend a little more time trying to figure this one out. I'm afraid its going to cost you some votes and a few rough comments. -Me, I love it, but it's not something old, it's something getting old too fast. - I'm booting you up to a 7 because it is such a good shot. - good luck - Mike....(Gotcha) |

| Very nice shot but I dont think this belongs in this challenge! A new born baby is getting older by the minute, a grain of sand is getting older as is every other object/thing/person/animal in this entire universe. |

Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject.
Composition - good
Technical Aspects - quite good
Meets Challenge - I have a problem here. Getting old is not the same as old

| I really like this photo... I love the lighting and the expression on the child's face. This is a very nice portrait for sure... I think it's very weak on the challenge though... I don't see old and I don't get a feeling of old... - jmsetzler |

| You may very well suffer in score because she is young, and some people have more narrow views of fits a challenge. It only suffered loosing one point from me perhaps, I am not really sure (in my subconscious) -- 9 Good Shot. Excellent use of light. Agamemnon |

| This just seems to be too much of a stretch. It's a nice photo and the black and white works well, plus the girl has a great expression. But do you mean "getting old" as in she's bored? Or do you mean she's getting older? I don't understand. I don't really mark people down for that kind of issue though, I like being asked to think. |
