 i still hold that this kid is an amazing model. having never really worked with a willing, purposeful model in a studio setting before, i'm quite satisfied with the results. and even if the scores aren't that high, he's gotten a lot of flatter from friends for the shots, which makes me feel pretty damn good.

from the 'purple' shoot. playing around with some of the studio lights in the photography department.

editting includes dodging and burning on the face/eyes, cloning out dust spots in background, a hint of curves adjustment.

a very nice portrait, except that the focus doesnt seem to be critically sharp in the eyes, which they should be! Oh, and tell him to shave that wanna be mustache ;)

Like the tight shot; the one single hair over his eye bothers me a little, and I might have tried to darken the right side even more.

Good shot, lighting brings out the hair well. My minor gripe is that the catchlight is the only thing I see really of the left eye, and it's a bit odd-looking.
